Tearing Rulers - 2 x 250mm/55mm/2mm

Amazing, I could never get the hang of tearing paper, but theses are a game changer. Worth every penny.

I must confess the first thing I did on receiving these was rip up the invoice. Then the quick start guide to my new router. Then some green cardstock, before finally allowing myself to try the tearing rulers on ... wait for it, wait for it ... yes, watercolour paper, plus it was my precious cold press quality stuff, kept only for Serious Forays into Mixed Media! Yessssssssss! It gave fabulously dramatic results on all, especially the last which was my reason for buying as tearing really thick paper by hand can be hard on the hands. And then I discovered, joy of joys, that the pretty milky white colour on these fab tools was actually a protective film to be peeled off - how satisfying! So you get the 4 different edges to play with which is brilliant. I prefer the result that occurs on the underside so more often than not I'll probably be flipping over my substrate before tearing although there'll be times & places for both effects, so I'd recommend testing both ways on scrap before deciding.

Need 4 different types of tears quickly & easily. This tearvruler is amazing. Highly recommend
