Yes, this is the same review for the white - same great product! Before using this Gee-Sso I have not been satisfied with other products that should have produced the same affect. Then I found Gee-Sso Good-Gesso - here is my recommendation - USE IT. Of course follow the directions look for a tutorial on YouTube and then enjoy making many craft items.

I have over the years used amny different brands of gesso and this is hands down the best I ahve ever used. Gives brilliant coverage and has a beautiful finish regardless of the material you are using it on.

This black gesso goes on easily and provides a great surface for mixed media on canvas and MDF blanks. It will last for ages as it is a good size and a little goes a long way.
