Too Smart for Mum

Today I want to show you a project made with the new stencils “Texture” & “Roman Numerals” and two soon to be released stamps.

Our 11 year-old son is incredible smart. Ok, I am his mother so of course I think so – but it´s really a fact that he´s doing very well in school. Everything that comes to mathematics and constructions is just what he loves. Often when we come home from work we find him in front of the TV watching programs on National Geographic Channel. And when it comes to homework and maths – well I’m totally lost – I can´t help him at all.

When the new stamp “Periodic Table of Elements” arrived at my studio I decided to use it for a layout about the above.

I have used a white cardstock as my base. On it I stamped with the new stamp called “Rain Droplets” using green stamping ink. After that I added Acrylic paint (Townhouse Teal) trough a stencil (Texture stencil) using my finger tip. When the paint was dry I stamped with the “Periodic Table of Elements” stamps before adding the photo in place.

The numbers were added by stamping through the “Roman Numerals” stencil.

To finish of my layout I added some embellishments and paint splatters using water diluted Acrylic paint (“Park Lane”).
