The Belle of the Ball

The Belle of the Ball must have a beautiful dress… one of radiance, sparkles and made just for her.  Using the IndigoBlu Mega Flakes- Winter Dawn, I created such a dress.

Adorned with a necklace of gold and color around her neck, fluterring butterflies and a big flourishing flower. And off to the dance she goes…

To create this belle, use the Winter Dawn Mega Flakes to create the dress. Add punched butterflies from the beautiful Floral Vignettes Mixed Media Mini Postcards collection. Ink the edges, add some bling to create the illusion of the butterfly body to give it dimension.  Use the same bling to create her necklace to emphasize the top of the dress.

Once you have dressed her, use IndigoBlu stamps to give her added dimension.  I used the Limor Webber Industrial Lamps Large A6 stamps for this project.  I then added some texture using the new stencil called Texture and black gesso to the bottom of the dress form. Add a big beautiful flower, adorn her with the butterflies and away she goes!

Thank you for stopping by, I hope to see many adorned beauties at the ball.
