Bloomin’ Tag

Hello crafters! Zoey here today to show you a quick and easy TAG I made using some products available over the IndigoBlu store! August is finally over, yes, I said it. Although I am really sad that summer holidays are over, I am so looking forward for Autumn and Winter! My favorite season…I love pullovers, scarfs and gloves! All over August our awesome Design Team delighted us with wonderful projects, did you miss some? Don’t worry, you can check out the entire August Archive!

But back to my TAG… I grabbed one kraft color TAG and I glued down few strips from the new paper pad we released last month Floral Vignettes 6×6. I glued these pieces on the opposite corners and then I glued over few pieces of book pages. I covered all the paper pieces with GeeSso Good! Gesso  – White watered down with a bit of water and then I coloured with English Cottage Artist’s Acrylic Paint – Sleeping Beauty also watered down a little.

I took another paper from the  Indigoblu Floral Vignette 6×6 I crumpled it up and added tons of water to break down the paper fibres. When I got the amount of wrinkles I was looking for I dried it with the heat gun. I toned down the colors of the paper with again Indigoblu GeeSso Good! Gesso  – White watered down with a bit of water. I stitched everything together and then I set the tag aside letting the paper dry out completely.

With StazOn Midi Ink Pad Jet Black I stamped three flowers using the awesome Bloomin’ Great A5 Rubber Stamp and then I coloured them using markers. I am not really good with colouring, but I like the way they turned out!

I fussy cut them and then I glued down to the background. With a gel pen I draw the stems and added the banner with the sentiment.I also wanted to add a leaf, so from the same stamp set Bloomin’ Great A5 Rubber Stamp, I stamped the leaf, coloured again with markers and fussy cut it.

Before calling it “done” I added some shadows and some circles with Caran d’Ache Neocolor Pastels and with a water brush I blended it with the background. Then the tag was done, what do you think about it?

I hope you had fun, stay happy stay creative…till next time!

Ciao Zoey
