Madonna and child into frame

Hi everyone Nicoletta here!

When I saw the New IndigoBlu Madonna and Child Stamp I thought : what an amazing image! It’s beautiful. I wanted to find a way to enhance it and I thought the best way would be to frame it.

I split the work into 2 parts: 1 for to create the image into the frame and 2 for the frame.

For the central Image: Onto some card stock I have spread two coats of IndigoBlu GeeSso Good! – Gesso Black.  It’s a wonderful product – very easy to use and is rich in pigment for a dark covering I like it very much!!

When the Black Gesso is dry I stamped  the new Madonna and Child stamp using the IndigoBlu Flitter Glu technique and I applied Chariot of Fire MegaFlakes. I got a very contrasted and precious image.

For the frame:

On a wood frame I have spread two coats of IndigoBlu GeeSso Good! Gesso Black.  When this dried  I applied the Ruby Slippers paint from the IndigoBlu metallic range. To create shades and textures I used a brush to apply the paint to my frame. When the paint has dried I used a permanent ink pad to add a bit of background, here I used IndigoBlu Music Hall Stamp.

To finish I chose some flowers from the new IndigoBlu Floral Vignettes-Mixed Media Paper Pad and I applied on frame with gel medium.

Thank you Everyone for visiting IndigoBlu blog and my blog post!
