Stamping a Three Dimensional Christmas Tree

Hello to everyone, this is Candy Rosenberg from the US with my first post for you.  I love making three-dimensional projects using non traditional items such as stamps.  I was inspired to make a holiday themed project using the new Clearly IndigoBlu Big Holly Stamp in a different way.

Take a look at how I transformed a christmas stamp into a three dimensional christmas tree and make one for your holiday table.

Lets start with a cardboard cone from a craft store.  This one is 12 inches high.  I painted it with Indigoblu English Cottage Artist’s Acrylic Paint- Burning Bonfire and accent with swishes of Metallic Gold.

Using the two step stamp set, I created multiple sets of holly leaves.  Colored each of them and cut them out individually.

Once the leaves were all cut out, I covered each level of the cone working my way up, with a wet adhesive.  Add each holly leave one at a time.

Keep working your way up the cone, layering each time around.  Using Flitterglu, I applied  MegaFlake Chariot of Fire to various areas of the tree to highlight.

Add some spots of ink here and there to give it depth.  And you have a lovely tree for your holiday table.

Craft on,
Candy Rosenberg
