Marie here today posting my first project for as an IndigoBlu Belle! I loved working with the new Clear Stamps – YES – clear stamps from IndigoBlu. The new line called Clearly IndigoBlu are really something else. I have tons of clear stamps and use them on a daily basis but I had nothing like these ones. Since they come in two different styles – one graphic and one sketchy you can get a really cool layered effect on your stamped image.
The set I used for this card is really a Christmas Stamp – but I had another project in mind as soon as I got the first view of them. I think they works perfect for a Wedding Card like this one I created or why not for a Birthday Card?
The base of this card is a piece of plain cardstock that I covered on one side with a piece of 6×6 paper from the Flights of Fancy Mixed Media Paper Stack. To get a good background for my layering I added black gesso with a spatula. When dry I glued on strips from a 6×6 paper that comes from the Emporium of Curiosities line.
If you look close you can see that I used Mega Flakes (Chocolate Box) on my Bubbles background stamp.
Before I cut out the stamped images I painted them with English Cottage Acrylic paints and gilded them with Mega Flakes (Chariot of Fire) . I think the effect with the sketch golden is really cool.
I hope you enjoyed todays project.
This is what I used from IndigoBlu:
Clearly IndigoBlu ” Triple Parcel”
Background Bubbles Rubber Stamp
English Cottage Acrylic Paint Iced Gem
English Cottage Acrylic Paint Metallic Copper
Emporium of Curiosities Mixed Media Paper
Flights of Fancy Mixed Media Paper
