Bella and the Toadstool

Hi Everyone,

It’s Sarah here today with my regular Wednesday slot.     I have two projects to share with you all today, the first is a card using the gorgeous Becca Stamp.

There is quite a lot of different things going on with this card… I stamped Becca onto some vintage book paper and then watercoloured  the image, this was added to a piece of cardstock that I had brayered using the lovely cottage acrylic paints, and blended in against the background.

I stamped around the edges using the ink splats stamp set, I also used the Ink Splat butterfly stamp and stamped direct onto the mulberry flowers on the left hand side of the card.

Now onto the mushroom… I bought this at the weekend when I was Demonstrating at Madhatters Craft Shop in Turriff, Aberdeenshire, I do like to support the shops I attend, and when I seen these I just had to buy a couple 😉

The Mushroom was given a base layer of Gee Soo Good White Gesso, and then the stalk painted with the ever so gorgeous Snow White Metallic paint, this is my all time favourite  paint it is so versatile pearly and shimmery.   The mushroom cap was covered in Flitterglu and smothered in Chocolate Box Megaflake… add some twine and a small tag and it’s done!  I love it so much!

I hope you liked today’s projects, I had so much fun creating them for you

Remember to pop back in this week for more blog posts from the Design Team

See you next week

Sarah x
