Red and white takes flight.

Morning everyone, well this is my first blog post since before Christmas, as we’ve been showing you all the fantastic new releases from Indigoblu,  and the special range of stamps in cahoots with the wonderful Limor Webber.

So I guess my first thing is to wish you all A Happy New Year – seems ages ago to me already!

My post today is using a couple of Limor’s range, Rugged Edge, and Butterfly splatter, which will be out very soon, so I’m allowed to show you the whole card instead of just a sneak peak now.  Plus you may have already have seen it on the video’s from Indigoblu’s stand at CHA 2015 in California this week just gone.

I spritzed Postbox Red paint (mixed with a little water), in a spray bottle, onto a white piece of card.  I stamped the butterfly in flitterglu, and added white embossing powder, and heat embossed.  Flitterglu is amazing for embossing, it doesn’t bubble and holds embossing powder brilliantly, giving a crisp, clean image.

I stamped some of the rugged edge borders around the base card, and over the paint on the main piece, in stayzon inks, black and claret.

I used some leftover pieces of sprayed card, and stamped the sentiment from Grand Tour III, edged in stayzon and mounted on foam pads for some height.  It’s all layered together on some black card for effect.

Over the coming weeks we have so many new products to show you, Limor’s stamps and Indigoblu’s own range, you will be spoilt!!

Our Indigoblu team of designers and demonstrator’s will be out and about again soon, starting on Saturday 24th January, we will be at:

Strikes Burnside – Lisa

Strikes Houghton Hall – Alison

A Maze of Memories – Nikki

I hope you can make it to one of these if you are in the area, or just keep checking the Indigoblu facebook page for a demo near you.

Have a lovely week,

Best Wishes,

Nikki K.
