Paint, Flake and a Workshop…

Hi everyone and welcome to my regular Saturday instalment here at IndigoBlu. Well here we are already in December hurtling towards Christmas Day at an alarming rate! Are you ready? Have you got all your cards made? Last Saturday I taught a workshop at IndigoBlu HQ in Retford with a wonderful group of ladies where we made a small dent in that card mountain and experimented with a few ideas for using English Cottage Artist’s Acrylic Paints and Mega Flakes along the way. Needless to say their finished cards were fabulous and everyone enjoyed spending time crafting with each other for the day.

Christmas Workshop 1

Here’s one of the cards we had fun creating. This version used the Clock Face stencil, the Dinkie Fancy Bauble stamp, the Dinkie Teardrop Bauble, the Dinkie Merry Christmas Circle, Morris Dance Mega Flakes, and the following paint colours: Park LaneTownhouse TealMiss MoneyPennyGoldfinger and Ruby Slippers.

Christmas Workshop 2

I’m thrilled to say I’ll be teaching more card making workshops next year using… well that would be telling right now! Details of these and lots of other exciting workshops will be released by IndigoBlu in the near future.

Well that’s all from me for now. Hope you have a great weekend and whatever you’re up to, take care of yourselves.
