Krafty ‘n’ Quick!

Hi everyone and welcome. Jenny reporting for duty with the final post of the year here at IndigoBlu.

Are you all ready for Christmas? Tree trimmed, presents all bought and cards sent? Hats off to you if that’s the case as you must be extremely organised!! I find no matter how organised I’ve tried to be with sending cards there’s always that unexpected one that arrives and you have to make a sudden dash to your craft room to rustle up a quick response. So today I’m sharing a really quick yet elegant Christmas card idea.

Krafty 1

Start with a square of kraft card and stamp it all over with FlitterGlu using the A6 ‘Snowflake Lace‘ stamp. Add ‘Chocolate Box‘ Mega Flakes all over, then blend Vintage Photo Distress Ink around the edges.

Krafty 2

Stamp the Dinkie ‘Christmas Script I‘ onto a smaller rectangle of black card and add the same Chocolate Box Mega Flakes. Mount both this and the kraft background onto white card, once again edging it with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Layer the sentiment over the background using foam pads, sandwiching a piece of sheer white ribbon between the two. And there you have it – one card created in record time!

Krafty 3

And so it just remains for me to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from everyone at IndigoBlu.

We’ll be back in the New Year and look forward to sharing some incredibly exciting new goodies with you (lots of which will be on display at the January 2015 CHA Mega Show in Anaheim, California). I promise, you really don’t want to miss what is on the way – it’s AWESOME!!!

As the festivities begin remember to take care of yourselves,

Jenny xxx
