Christmas Collage

Hi Everyone!

It’s Sarah here reporting for blog duty Tuesday 😉

Today I have a little christmas collage for you, highlighting some of my favourite projects that I have created for the blog since becoming an Indigoblubelle.

I remember my very first post, I wanted to make something really nice, and I made the little book of quotes, I loved how the script stamp showed off how lovely the megaflake looked against the blue background, and also how fun the quotes were, this little book is so versatile, you could make this into a 2015 calendar, a mini photo album etc..

Another favourite was the Chocolate box gift box.. another versatile project that can be adapted for any occasion, Halloween, Easter, Birthdays etc..

I made this using the gorgeous chocolate box megaflake and the snowflake lace background stamp which was released just a few months ago and is a already a well loved favourite of everyone I meet.

Then the challenge blog had a theme called Magical Masking,  I had to do a spot of research so that I could become familiar with what I was supposed to be doing 😉  A wee bit masking take and some ink later …. and we have the gorgeous stylised flowers stamp…

It has been a great year for learning for me .. stretching myself into the unknown and never tried before techniques.. another first for me was Shaker Cards.. and boy are they addictive!… although one lesson I learned, ultra fine glitter and acetate don’t really bode well together, static tends to cloudy your windows 🙂

Another fun technique was incorporating coffee filters into my cards, they add great texture as shown in this window Noel card

Yet another fun project for me to make was the altered paper-mache heart shaped gift box.. I love using the cottage acrylic paints, they cover your projects so well! and the megaflake adds that special luxurious touch.

I will finish off my little recap collage with sleeping George used with Sarah’s choice stamp set …  and the addition of some versafine inks makes such a lovely clean and simple card

This will probably be my last blog post until after the year, I just want to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a happy and healthy new year!   I hope you enjoyed today’s post … don’t forget to check back this week for more lovely projects from the Indigoblubelles.

Take care

Sarah xx
