Blue Poppies ATC

Morning everyone,

I hope you had a good weekend.  I had a little drama with transport on Saturday, (towed home by the RAC)!

Have you got your Christmas decorations up yet, those of you that do?   Mine are in a haphazard state,  I did try…  I got my ‘Bah Humbug’ lights out (yes, really), and hubby untangled them, I spent 20 minutes putting them round the front window, only to find that only the G lit up, or ‘bug’ if you wiggled the wires….

So I attemted to take them back down, got in a tangle, sat on the sofa in a strop and had a glass of wine instead!  They are in the bin now….

So I thought I’d share something non-christmassy this morning, a little ATC I made for a challenge a while ago.

It’s a tryptiche, and I used Poppy meadow stamp, and script background.  I stamped the poppies in Versafine black, and then masked them off.   Script background was stamped on top in flitterglu and chariot of fire megaflake.  I used Tea Dye distress ink to age the panels.

Promarkers were used to colour in the poppies, I went for blue’s for a change, I think it gives a nice contrast.

If you are new to flitterglu and flake, our lovely Jenny Marples has a fab masterclass for you in this months Craft Stamper magazine, and you can also see one of our demonstrator’s lovely work in there too, Lisa Winnard.

So it’s a good month for Indigoblu fans.  Have you written your wish list for Santa yet?  Hope some IB goodies are coming your way!

Have a great week,

Best Wishes,

Nikki K. xxx
