Christmas Tree-o…

Hi everyone!

Sarah here reporting for blog duty today 🙂

I have a tree-o (“trio” I couldn’t resist the pun ) of wooden christmas trees that I  painted and decorated,   I picked these up from Strikes/Klondyke garden centre on my last demo trip up in Inverness, they have a great range of alterable goodies.

Here they are assembled and ready to be painted

All three trees were given a base coat of White Gee-Sso Good Gesso, before each receiving a coat of Cottage Acrylic Paint..

The Pink Christmas Tree was painted with Pink Iced Gem and Cinderella and Buttons

The Blue Christmas Tree with Grandmas Teacup and Snow White and Mica Powder and Ribbon

The Green Christmas Tree with Emeral City and Snow White Metallic Paint and Pearls and Sequins

all 3 bases were given a spiral of Indigoblu fine silver glitter..and the base covered with shaved ice

Here is a side view of all three

I love how they all turned out and I am looking forward to taking these along to my demonstrations this month.

I used the dot circle background stamp with flitterglu and mica powder on the blue tree, it looks so shiny when the light catches it.

I also love how the pink tree is perfect for a little girls room and would make a perfect addition to a window ledge or bedside table 😉
