Noel

Hi there everyone!

It is Tuesday and my turn on the blog today.

For my card today I am using something a little bit different ……… coffee filters!

That’s correct ….. coffee filters … who knew they could come in handy for crafting,  they give such a lovely texture, plus they are so versatile, this is a little 5 x 5 tri fold window card.

I used cottage garden acrylic paints for my project today, I made up some custom colours in spray bottles to use and I love the colours.

I took 3 bottles and used banana custard as the base colour, and by adding a spot of black gesso to one bottle, a spot of rich cocoa to another and finally a spot of park lane to the 3rd bottle it gave me some gorgeous green tones of spray paint which compliment the gin and tonic megaflakes perfectly.

Using the coffee filter with the project gives the card a lovely texture and you just want to touch it all the time 🙂

I will record a video for you as a “how to” using coffee filters on my next technique day,  I have several saved up already waiting ..

Is there a video & how do I find it? Thanks again Sarah. Dawn
