Oh Christmas tree…..

Good morning all,

Wishing you all a lovely weekend, lets hope that the sun comes out and stays out and we don’t get too much of the wet stuff!!!

I thought that I would show you today a couple of my cards that I made for Kay recently using the gorgeous new IndigoBlu Winter Wonderland Stamp.

Now when I first got this stamp I wasn’t so sure about it but when you ink it up and stamp it you realise how much fine detail there is and how beautiful it looks.

Here is a couple of cards that I made with it:

I started with monochromatic first, I love black and white at Christmas ….to me it always looks so classy….

I stamped the trees with Versafine Black Onyx and embossed it with a clear sparkly embossing powder. I then used the Dinkie Holly Flourish to create a base for the trees and the borders on the top corners and again embossed them.

I then swiped my clear emboss pad over the holly flourish base and then added the clear sparkle powder to ground the trees and make it look snowy, you can see the detail here in the close up…….

So I then thought wouldn’t the trees look great in blue and white and this is the result:

This time I inked up the trees in Versacolour Atlantic and then clear sparkle embossed again, I also swiped the base of the tress again with my clear pad and embossed it. This time I split the picture in to three and matt and layered it on to my card adding some ribbon…..

To add an embellishment I used the IndigoBlu Poinsettia Stamp  and cut it out to make a flower and added a rhinestone gem in the centre.

Well that is all from me for now, I hope you like my Christmas trees and fancy giving it a go….

Hugs Lisa.B.xx
