Just a little note ….

Morning folks!  Happy Wednesday,

I hope you’re all having a good week.  As usual things are a little busy in the old craft room ….. then again, I wouldn’t have it any other way!   I’ve been having great fun working with the brand new IndigoBlu festive designs.  Have you seen them all yet ….. they’re gorgeous!  I shouldn’t say it but I do have my favourites …. all will be revealed soon.

You can find all the brand new designs over on the website ….. just in time for our latest Blog challenge.   You know there’s still time to get your entries in for this month’s Christmas in July theme …. and if you’re still not sure where to start with all your festive makes pop over to the Challenge Blog where you’ll find more inspiration today from the DT …… go on, get into the Christmas spirit …. Ho! Ho! Ho!

On the subject of Christmas, I’ve got a little something for you today that could be used as stocking fillers, Thank You presents, or even table gifts.  You could even use this to help plan your Christmas …… it’s a cute little note book

The idea for this came from a workshop I attended last week, run by one of my crafty friends on the island ….. thanks Jill you’re a star! (I believe the original idea came from a friend of Jill’s  ….. another Linda …. so thanks to you too hun!)

We made these fab little handbag sized note books which are so much fun to do, and useful too!! ….. mine’s going to become my crafty shopping list, and somewhere to keep a record of all the different ink and paint colours that I have …. hopefully it’ll stop me buying more of what I’ve already got!!!

I’ve used one of my favourite IndigoBlu stamps ….. ‘Jane’ for the front, stamped in Imperial Purple Versafine ink and mat and layered using black and purple cardstock

Inside has also been given the IndigoBlu treatment ……

The words are from  Hocus Pocus and I finished off with my all time favourite stamp, the fabulous Vintage Flourish

The actual notebook pages are just cut from copier paper and tied together with some co-ordinating ribbon.  This makes it easy to refill once you’ve used up what’s in there.

Just add a nice ballpoint pen and you’ve got a cute, useful little gift.  Finished size is about 6.5 x 14cm, but you could easily alter the size if you wanted to ….. this is just a nice size that fits easily into a handbag.

Well that’s it from me today ….. don’t forget to check out the Challenge Blog later for some more Christmas ideas …. who knows you may just see some of the brand new designs on there.

Thanks for popping by today ….. have a great week.

Cheerio until next time

LindyLou xx
