Monochrome with a shot of colour…

Good morning all,

It is my turn to share with you a little inspiration on the blog…so I thought I would show you a samples that I made which is monochromatic but with a little shot of colour…

I started by using the Mr Darcy A5 stamp set and used the main collage stamp for the main image and the gorgeous lace stamp from Nottingham Lace on the top and bottom of the card.

I then in filled with my favourite Dinky Vintage Flourish stamp . I used a Versafine Black Onyx to stamp all the images and then embossed with a clear embossing powder.

I used a red pro-marker to add a shot of colour to the flower in the hair and lace border…

I then stamped and embossed the messages on to white card and then over stamped them with the Honey comb background stamp in Antique Linen distress ink before tearing around them.

I also used the honeycomb stamp on the background with a little Antique Linen  to give an added textured look…

I added a matted black layer on to the main focal before attaching it to my card front and then finished off with a wired organza bow and pearl brad.

Let me know what you think, I really enjoyed making this card…

Bye for now,

Hugs Lisa.B. xx
