Easter with Laura

Hi everyone, I hope you are all well and are enjoying our lovely weather! I hope that you lucky crafter’s that got to meet Kay and the Indigoblu team at Ally pally are enjoying playing with what goodies you got to add to your stash!

With Easter almost here I have have been getting in the mood with this fabulous egg that I picked up in the Indigoblu shop when I stopped there a few weeks ago.

1

I started by painting the egg with gesso-white, then painted all over in indigoblu-english-cottage-artists-acrylic-paint-pantry-white. While the paint dried I grabbed a hand full of tissues and stamped the rose-blush stamp with a purple brilliance ink pad and cut the flowers out ready to stick, I also stamped the script stamp onto tissue paper.

2

I then slapped on slap-it-on all over the egg and placed the flowers to make a pattern and then cut up the tissue with the script on to fill on all the blanks.

3

I used the indigoblu-english-cottage-artists-acrylic-paint-wimberry-pie to paint the inside of the egg, then filled it with tissue paper and of course added some chocolate eggs! Some did not make it into the egg, haha!

Have a lovely day, thank you for reading
Laura x x
