Altered Ego’s and Mega Flake

Hi everyone it’s Laura again, hope you are having a lovely crafty week. I am sharing two makes with you today.

For the first card I have used the the good-times set and time-altered-ego as you can see some of the stamps such as the two pocket watches match the altered egos perfectly so you can add more detail on to them,  I have used the clocks and cogs to stamp around the edges with distress ink and used the clocks to make a border and then distressed all the edges with distress ink, then placed the egos in a cluster on the side of the border and added one of the lovely sentiments from the stamp sheet. For the second we are going girly pink

For this card I have used the boadicea set, megaflake-lancashire-roseflitterglu, megaflake-chariot-of-fire,   perfect-stamping-cardmetal-corner-embellishment and distress ink,

I stated by stamping the lovely lady on white card with flitter glue and the flower border on white card twice, then covered them both in Lancashire rose mega flakes, I then matted the lady onto some gold card and cut the three flowers out of the two boarders. I then stamped two of the little wordings from the set on white card with flitter glue and then used chariot of fire flakes on them. It’s always better to use a solid colour on something very small like wording as flakes with multi colours in could make it hard to read. I then moulded the flowers around a metal corner embellishment. I then placed them in the opposite corners on the lady and placed the wording with the flowers.

I hope you’ve enjoyed today’s post,

Thank you for reading Laura x
