It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas ……..

Hello there,

I’m getting later and later each week …… sorry!   It’s been one of those really busy days and then I’ve been out and about this evening but, less of the excuses and on with the post.

I don’t know about you but I’m finally getting into the festive spirit.  The tree is decorated and twinkling nicely,  the Christmas shopping has been started, the sound of Christmas carols and the gorgeous Mr Buble fill the air, and I’ve finally made some Christmas cards – whoo hoo!!!   Not many …… but at least it’s a start.

So …. with Christmas in mind, here are some designs I made earlier in the year for the TV, using the pretty IndigoBlu Large Snowflake  stamp

DSCF3847A really quick and easy design.  The image has been stamped using Brilliance Pearlescent ink and then parts have been highlighted using the IndigoBlu SuperFine FlitterGlu Glitter

A little mat and layering and you have a nice simple but classic card

Next up, it’s the same stamp, but this time I’ve used the Flitter Glu and Flake

And who says you can’t have pink at Christmas …….. I think it looks pretty.  I’ve used Sheffield Steel Mega Flakes onto White IndigoBlu Stamping card then I’ve cut around the snowflake, and mounted it onto an embossed  snowflake background  using foam pads

Finally ……… of course, snowflakes have to be done in icy blue ……

This time I’ve stamped onto vellum using the Flitter Glu and Flake, then added colour on the underside using Pan Pastels

Three different looks using the same stamp ……. what colour would your snowflakes be?

Thanks for popping by.  Before I go, a quick reminder that Kay will be back on Create & Craft at the weekend – Saturday 7th December at 11am.  There’s brand new stamps, brand new products and loads of tips and techniques.  Don’t forget to tune in.

Not only that there’s two fabulous projects from Kay in the latest edition of Simply Cards and Papercraft  – Issue 118, on sale from Dec 5th.

I think that’s everything.  Enjoy the rest of your week.

Cheerio for now
