Jane Stamp

Hi everyone Clare here.

Today I have for you the fabulous Jane stamp which is fast becoming becoming one of my favourite’s. She is a big stamp and a bit intimidating at first but once you get her stamped up and start colouring in she is really nice to work with.

For this card I firstly measured out equal squares in Kraft card and covered them with flitterglu as Kay does on the TV. I then wiped on a thin layer of Kroma and heated with a heat gun to get the cracked effect. I then sealed all the pieces with slap it on and glued them equally to the card.

I stamped Jane onto ordinary card stock as I was using water to colour in Versamark Sepia ink. I glued her down to a piece of Kraft card and carefully cut around to give a border. I did the same for the sentiment. I coloured her in with various Caran Dash water soluble pastels they do have them at HQ but I cant locate them on the website so give them a ring if you would like some.

After Jane was dry I assembled and finished the card. Putting some ribbon from my stash in her hair and a small flower to add alittle pretty touch

If you are in the Beverly area tomorrow (Saturday the 29th November 2013) I will have this card with me for you to see in person at the Strikes Beverley Garden Centre, Hull Road, Woodmansey, Beverley, East Riding Of Yorkshire, HU17 0RS

Thanks for visiting
