Wedding Card

Whilst at the Aintree show on the Samuel Taylor stand a lovely lady came

onto the stand and bought one of The IndigoBlu ‘Love is..’ stamps but was

unsure what to do with it. So I invited her back to have a play on sunday

morning. Her son is getting married next March so it had to be a simple

design than can be easily repeated quickly. You know what its like… after

the trillianth card you want to screeeeeam!!!

Denise brought with her a lovely sage green ribbon printed with their

names so on the first design I did my squiggly squiggly ribbon thing, but

it was this design that won the day because she mentioned they were

getting married in the lake district. Light bulb moment……we’ve just

designed a background stamp of Lake Windermere and Coniston Water.

Stamps used..'Love Is..' 'Map'. Disress inks. Pearl and tiny bling stones.

Here’s the how to…..

I used a plain 6″x6″ card from Samuel Taylor. Placed post-it notes along

the whole length of the card about 2″ in from the edge. As the wedding

colours are white and sage green I used Bundled Sage, Forrest Moss and

Crushed Olive all together on the Map stamp, stamped down the left side

of the card. Remove the post-it notes and ink up  Love Is..  with the same

colours. Stamp and when dry add tiny diamante stick-on bellies and a

pearl heart. Finish with Wedding Invitation.

Good luck to Denise and her family on the big day…….
